Earning the Eagle Scout rank with the Boy Scouts of America in 1976 as a teenager, established an early standard and code of conduct that continues to guide me today. With a passion for delivering exceptional results and with a commitment to continuous growth, I look forward to leveraging my expertise to add value and make a meaningful impact for every client I'm honored to serve.

My early career journey in the medical industry, from working inside dedicated facilities to traveling to different hospitals throughout much of the US as a field service and sales account manager, equipped me with a deep understanding of diagnostic cardiology, laboratory, and imaging systems, as well as the overall care pathways and components within our healthcare industry. Adding my work experience as a small business owner, to mortgage loan origination to sales for a national homebuilder, to life insurance, annuities and Medicare planning, and as a real estate broker, I offer a broad skill set and ability to adapt in diverse environments.

Today, I'm honored to work as the Principal Managing Agent with Bedrock Planning Group.   BPG serves to assist clients in their insurance, realty* and estate planning.  Being licensed for Life, Health, and Medicare Supplements since 2009, and obtaining FINRA's Series 6 and 63 registrations in 2011 for investment product solutions, to adding North Carolina's Real Estate Broker's license in 2019, I possess the knowledge and license authority to offer a wide range of solutions for my clients.

Along with my wife Laura, we're the proud parents of two adult children. Together, we're continuing to learn how to live in the "empty nest" and as part of that, we've undertaken taking shag dance lessons. We're having a blast, but as for me, I'm liable to be stuck in the beginner stage of that endeavor. My own special interests include music, both listening and making from time to time as I'm a clarinet player from my school days and enjoy trying to get better with the guitar. Outdoor activities are a joy, even mowing the grass, but I especially enjoy fishing, golf, tennis, and pickleball.
