About Us

The Mt. Healthy funeral home was built in 1833 as a family home, predominantly for the LaBoiteaux family, and was purchased by Paul Young, Sr. and his wife, Marian, in 1948 as their home and business. The traditionally decorated home has several antiques and provides comfortable seating in our chapel and sitting rooms. Fireplaces, a family kitchen, and sitting rooms provide a warm and homelike feel for our families. The Mt. Healthy staff provides personalized and caring service for your family. The Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy is also home to our first Nativity display at Christmastime, created by founder Paul R. Young, Sr.
