Why Choose Bay Area Cremation Society

You may be surprised to learn that most Cremation and Funeral Providers do not own and operate the Crematory where they engage in the Cremation Process. Many will contract out to other facilities for their families who select cremation. We are proud to own and operate A Bay Area Crematory. This facility is state of the art and is monitored via cameras 24 hours a day. The cremation process is powered by highly computerized and energy efficient technology. All of our Certified Operators have been trained in the classroom along with on the job training and have been certified to operate the cremation equipment. Please call and request a scheduled tour.

All of our State Inspection Reports are posted on our website in order to maintain transparency. Each of our State licensed funeral establishments are visited by a State Inspector with the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau annually. The State Inspector reviews the practices of the funeral establishment and Crematory to ensure that all the state laws and codes are in compliance. We are pleased to report that we consistently maintain a status of having no violations at any of our locations.

Our in-house procedures and controls for maintaining the individual identity of your loved one go above and beyond what is required by the State. We employ a bar code tracking system which allows us to track your loved one while in our care.

When you call us, you are conducting business with a family owned and operated organization. Today, most Funeral and Cremation Providers are corporate owned and their purpose is to satisfy the shareholders. As a result of this, your family’s needs may not be met and are simply a number. The Love Family started this business in the later part of 2000 and continue to operate the business today.

Because we own our Crematory, we are able to completely control the process. Our experienced team members work together to quickly get all the necessary arrangements in place and to get the required County and State documents registered. This enables us to complete the cremation process and return your loved one’s cremated remains to you within three to four days.

Our Code of Ethics

Providing simple, dignified and affordable ways to bring honor to a life well lived.

The Code of Practice of the Cremation Association of North America clearly describes our Sacred Trust. In the practice of cremation, we believe:

  • In dignity and respect in the care of Human Remains, in compassion for the living who survive them, and in the memorialization of the dead;
  • That a Cremation Authority should be responsible by creating and maintaining an atmosphere of respect at all times;
  • That the greatest care should be taken in the appointment of Crematory staff members, any of whom must not, by conduct or demeanor, bring the Crematory or cremation into disrepute;
  • That the cremation should be considered as preparation for memorialization;
  • That the dead of our human society should be memorialized through a commemorative means suitable to the survivors.
