As a retired attorney, I  wanted to continue in a helping profession. In my 40 years as a lawyer, I had occasion to counsel and comfort families. I began performing funerals while an attorney, finding connection with those who who keenly experienced the loss of another who was significant in their lives. If I can help express that significance, it is an opportunity to benefit others, but also a chance for me to find value in my life.
